therazorbladeIt works, but without some realtime interaction, collaboration, or contest elements, this is not very interesting.
So simple and yet, a lot of fun! If add some social features (commenting, shareing, guessing.. or even collaborative drawing) it would be far more complete.
chrisumbeldrawing interface was smooth enough. think this idea has been used several times in knockout, though.
hunedlove the concept. wonder what it’d be like to go super minimalist: pick just one color at start, then go with a 32x32 grid and that’s it. some of the gallery entries are pretty great, but wish i could delete the ones i did (bc they are lame).
I wish there was some interaction with other players, like what did other people draw for the same three words. There’s some offensive pictures in there now that you might want to remove. I like the drawing tool – much nicer than the one i used in my project.
This works remarkably well, I’m just not sure what it’s for or how it demonstrates what Node can do.
johndbrittonI’m really itching for some way to interact with other people while I’m drawing.
pretty fun, i could see it as a like a fun multi-user/party game. ability to vote on doodles plus a couple more colors/drawing tools and this would be awesome.
The random drawing subjects are way too hard, even though they are kind of funny, like “flaky macara sighing”. :) Would love to have a button to pick another. :D
If different users received the same prompt, 75-second doodles could be voted/rated against each other to add gamification + identity elements – great potential! Target tablet users vs. PCs, where drawing on a trackpad (without a pen) and switching brush colors are less time efficient. Worked perfectly in Firefox 3.6 also.
