therazorbladejudgeI could not get it working on FF6. It asked permission to get my location but then displayed the entire globe. I zoomed in to where I was and tried to click OK but nothing happened. Was able to get my location on Chrome but OK did nothing.

Overall I had no clue how to use this. A lack of instructions or error messages made it pretty tough. I tried to search for a location and hit Ok but it just reset everything. I guess I just didn’t get it :/

contestantGave it a go and it detected my location fine, but then working out what to do next was a little less obvious. Looks like a good idea, just fell over a little in the execution :/
swoodiejudgeI really really wanted this to work for me, but got stuck in the loop of setting location . The idea is great though and would love to see a working demo.

Hi Sara, thanks for voting! What happened at the location screen? It tries to guess your location (an authorization message should pop-up), or you can search for an adress at the bottom. Cheers!

first of all, wow g&v – this threaded reply feature on the knockout site is a nice touch this year ;)
hi ricardo! i went to the main screen and got a gray square. the pop-up came and i said ok. but still nothing. i searched and found san francisco. clicked “ok” at the top which causes that whole process to start over (gray box, pop-up dialogue box, etc).

Hi Conrad, thanks for trying it out. Would you mind explaining the issue a bit? We plan to actually finish it :) If it couldn’t guess your location you could do a search using the fields at the bottom. cheers!
geradjudgeI could see the idea being useful for flash mob organizers (or London rioters?) but it’s not too useful for me, so I guess it’s innovative! Unfortunately, I couldn’t get it working for me on Safari or Chrome, so low marks for completeness. Loved the background though.
