This is an online version of the board game Apples to Apples. I didn’t get as many features in as i would have liked, but the game is still playable. So pick the best matching noun and adjective and enjoy!
log on using facebook (the app only stores your name and facebook id). Then start matching adjectives with nouns. Its more fun with more people.

therazorbladeDoesn’t really work… I was able to login and then was both the judge and player (?). I could not get another player in, and no matter what I picked, the score stayed the same. I had to look this game up but based on what I read, this didn’t match my expectations.
andrewfchenI like the effort but it just didn’t seem clear to me how I was supposed to play, if I had to have friends or what.I kept trying, I’d keep clicking on my guesses but nothing would happen, no new points or anything. And the same words would keep coming back. The user experience just wasn’t well thought out.
Seems like it could be fun, and I like the simplicity of the idea. But I was playing on my own, so there wasn’t really any point, and it wasn’t really fun. And eventually I got to some point when I would click on the various options (“Sport Utility Vehicles,” “My Hair,” “Zen,” “Psychics,” “Chicago”) but with no response or change. Bug? Anyway, for hackathons like this, it’s best to design apps that can be judged by one person on their own. You just can’t count on other players.
I played this for a bit then realized that I’m probably playing by myself! Need some way to see what other people are playing currently. Or have it not work if there are fewer than 3 players. I am sort of curious to see how this game (which is amazing IRL) would work over the internet with strangers. I suspect not very well :–\ Pet peeve but I don’t think there’s any reason you need a FB login for this.
Great idea, looks like it would work well on mobile.
jolieodellHey there! Cool idea to bring everyone’s favorite drinking game for the socially awkward and mentally twisted to the Internet. =) I get the feeling this one would be a lot more fun if it were more complete — if there were actual rounds of gameplay or a multiplayer UI, for example. But all in all, not a bad app for a hackathon! Well done.
joehitchensLooked like it was a multiplayer game (or should be in order to be fun), but i seemed to just be by myself. So it wasn’t particularly interesting.
jerrysievertthere really wasn’t much to this, had there been any feedback, or more instructions it might have made more sense.
More instructions would’ve been nice. A lot of the fun of playing this game live comes from being able to argue in support of the word you’ve picked, which is missing here.
I think this would benefit from having more clearly-defined opponents and rounds of play. Right now, it doesn’t really feel like a multiplayer game. I’m just kind of selecting words in a vacuum.
