My passion is to: Improve and increase quality systems of support for families and their children who have special needs.

Create educational opportunities and supports in a variety of environments to best meet the needs of families, and those professionals that support Children and Youth with Special Health Care Needs ~ CYSHCN.

Opportunities will create understanding , respect, diversity in choice, funding and support to access and use services, supports and leisure activities within their communities.

General Operation facilitation of Parents Information and Education Resource (PIER)

Arrange and facilitate parent groups in Marshfield and Wisconsin Rapids, Nekoosa and Pittsville.

Monthly e-news letters to parents and professionals on area /state educational opportunities and resources that enrich and support families and professionals.

Network and support with community agencies and organizations.

Support parent perspective and participation in County Committees and Central Wisconsin Task Forces.

Phone and e-mail support to and from parents and professionals. WI FACETS Parent Leader

Broaden opportunities to enhanced the quality of life for children.

Help families understand the “Special Education” process.

Communicate /collaborate to best meet the educational needs of children.

Work with schools to understand educational barriers of children/family.
