did you try Firefox 25 + Firefox 25? we've had a lot of success with that.
I am so sorry it wasn't more clear but you need to people in a game for it to start, if you would like to try it again I would be more than happy to join in and play a game with you (Just put a time on here and I will join in around that time)
there were a bunch of us trying this out at the same time and I don't think any of us could make it work, even when we were all doing it together.
Thank you for feedback! Yep, at the end I will try to make less resource-heavy.
The ambition is there, only 48-hours doesn't leave enough time to realize that ambition. The pitch video talks about that. Integration is one of the big things going forward, because I absolutely agree that's where maximum value will occur.
We had to pick 1 thing to focus on for the contest, and chat seemed like the biggest bang for the buck in terms of demonstrating the concept.
Thanks for your vote Rod!
Hi! Thank you for stopping by. As noted in some other replies below, there are a number of features that we want to implement going forward. The network effect is a great observation in that I find that cyclists tend to know other cyclists, or runners stick together. Stakeholder engagement will be key.
You may have experienced some lag. It depends on websockets and a lot of data is passing to keep the screens in sync. However, it might be a feature we added. Everytime someone is killed it switches into bullet-time mode and slows down the whole game. This is a really nice effect when 2 or three people are playing but not when six or seven are. At that point it looks like lag because people are dying constantly. If there were a number of people playing when you did, try again when there aren't as many and tell us how much lag you get. I'm curious.
yes, there were perhaps too many people playing! I'll try again later when there are fewer as I can see this has potential.
The sweet spot for the game is 3 - 5 people. Definitely give it a try with fewer people :-)
Definitely checkout the gameplay video too if you haven't had a chance :-)
Did you manage to go to the top? :) there are 300 rows up to jump and each 100 rows the ledges are wider apart + to jump high you need to gain momentum by bouncing off of walls :)
Hi! Did you tried playing using bouncing off of walls? It makes the game sooo much more exciting :)
