Contestant on Abrasive Mind.
Thanks for the review. We primarily used node to parse the GitHub identicon PNGs and turn them into puzzle arrays. We came up with the idea only a couple days before the competition.
Your scoring strikes me as really damn harsh.
I don't know if you noticed, but we generate the puzzles server side, in Nodejs, and are using the hackathon sponsored real-time service GoInstant to show the currently playing players and their progress, all synced in real-time. Are you saying that any app that depends on this service deserves 1 star across the board?
Hi Jon. I'm sorry for you. I don't understand, I would like put a better score as your game deserves it, but I cant. don't know why ? may be a mouse virus? oh, and your friend Reza could have the same problem 'cause he gave me a 1/1/1/1 just before. Anyway thanks for your explaination about your Nodejs usage.
I finally managed to kill that silly mouse and to find a more docile. The problem has been short-lived.
You sir are a gentleman.
Glad you liked it. You can use your phone as a controller (if it supports swipe gestures). So you can have the game up on your monitor and log in with your phone, swipe upwards to spawn and then use that as your controller.
yeah, I just try it. I'm better with the keyboard and I should stop the screensaver when using the phone as a controler ^^
My bad. I've updated the entry details with more information. This entry is a fun hack to show that node.js can be used to communicate with a piece of hardware.
Not many technologies are easy to use for hardware-related things. And node.js is able to do that. How many times have we seen a vacuum cleaner playing Rocky theme song? node.js made it easily possible.
Thank you for your valuable comments. We have re-edit instructions.
The game "Ninja Dart" need at least one computer and a phone. Always make sure your computer is linked to http://lhc.2013.nodeknockout.com/samurai.html Your phone is linked to http://lhc.2013.nodeknockout.com/samurai.html
You and friends can play Ninja to send darts on your mobile phones. After sending darts, you can see the records on the PC's Screen, simultaneously.
Really sorry, fixed phone links ! Your phone is linked to http://lhc.2013.nodeknockout.com/ninja.html
